Divine Dream

Some poems begin slowly, as small whispers or suggestions. A poem can also start as an image in a painting. I can connect images that may become a painting that arrive from certain lines in one of my poems as well. I am really translating what has been recieved through my heart and out of the divine dream where they first began.

The Beginning of The End

What is 
left of the
old may
now enter
the new/
Farther stars
in the mist
go dim 
& forgotten
orchids still
cry frozen 
tears.
All along 
the silent
way &
home-ward,
my cold shadow
greets me
like a 
lost friend.
